After what seemed like months of heavy rain, we got a 1 day break in the weather. So Norma and I headed over to Vancouver for a day of photography. We stopped first at the Reifels Bird Sanctuary in Delta. It was very busy with other people and photographers taking advantage of the nice weather. I saw my first ever Peregrine Falcon and Northern Shrike (did not get a picture of the Shrike). We then went to Steveston and explored the historic waterfront. This is somewhere I've wanted to photograph for a long time. We ended our day doing some night photography of the Vancouver skyline and Olympic Rings from the Stanley Park Walkway. Al in all, a beautiful day.
