On August 12th, 2009, Canada's Snowbird Demonstration Team and Hawk One performed an air show for charity in Nanaimo. The show was in the sky's over downtown Nanaimo and Newcastle channel and Swy-A-Lana Lagoon. It drew quite the summer crowd and the waterfront was quite packed. We were lucky enought to be able to photograph the whole show from the 22nd floor of a tower downtown. Here are some of my images from that nice evening. All my images were taken with my Canon 50D and my Sigma 50-500 and handheld too! Hope you enjoy!
